“What A Wonderful Country” is a highly acclaimed satirical television show originated in Israel. The show has been on the air for over a decade and is approaching its eleventh season. Recently, the show’s producers decided it was time for a branding update. This update included revamping the show’s logo, graphic package, and opening sequence. While the primary bold lines of the logo were kept intact, the design was given a fresh, modern look that aligned with the overall visual style of the show. This rebranding effort aimed to enhance the show’s appeal and maintain relevance in the fast-evolving media landscape. Over the years, “What A Wonderful Country” has won several awards for its sharp humor and satirical take on various socio-political issues.

Creating a graphic identity for a TV brand is a challenging task, especially when it comes to building the backgrounds for the studio. Unlike the logo, the backgrounds are an abstract extension of the brand. They should be functional from a distance and up close, creating interest without stealing the spotlight. In the case of “Eretz Nehedert” studio, we designed a new background with a twist.
